New way to paint tiny nails

We enjoyed using this paint pen to paint my daughter's nails. The pen seemed easier to use on tiny nails compared to a typical nail polish brush. We wanted to make designs but the tip seemed too large for that. It would be nice if the tip was slightly smaller. We like the bright red shade of this paint pen!

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you and your daughter enjoyed using the paint pen and found it easier for tiny nails. We appreciate your suggestion about the tip size and will share it with our team for future improvements. We're thrilled you love the bright red shade—it's one of our favorites too! Happy painting!

Pros and cons to these

We are long-time Piggy Paint users! We have used (and loved!) Piggy paint for so many years I don’t even know how long. Nine of our kids are girls, so we use lots of polish!

We really wanted to love these pens, but unfortunately they were a bit difficult to use properly. The paint took forever to come down to the tip of the pen. Once we did get the paint flowing, it seemed that the paint was more on the sides of the pen vs the tip of the pen which made it awkward to use. We also had to keep stopping and pressing the pen down to get more paint flowing. Some colors seemed easier than other to use perhaps due to the colors used.

The tips of the pen were a little too fat to do any detailed designs. They also kind of took the paint off when you were trying to add more on. However, I will say, when the kids wanted to do it themselves they had a blast because they were easy for them to hold and use compared to traditional nail polish bottles. So if your kids want to do their own nails, these are probably for you!

Thank you for being such a longtime Piggy Paint fan! We love that your family has been enjoying our polish for so many years. We appreciate your honest feedback on the paint pens and will share your thoughts with our team as we continue to improve our products. For best results, we recommend shaking well and pressing the tip up & down on a test surface for about a minute to activate the polish. Before each use, shake again and press the tip until it's fully covered with polish for smoother application. We're so glad your kids had fun using them—making nail painting easy and enjoyable is what we’re all about! :)

Good for kids

My girls always ask to paint their nails by themselves but it can get messy. These are a nice option for them with less mess! They were both able to use the pens to paint their nails. We then used a different color to make dots and hearts for a fun design. We followed up with a top coat and the polish is still nice after a few days. The pens do take a bit of work to get going at first, they have instructions for this, but once the paint was flowing we were good to go! Love this brand and the new product!

Not a fanof pen

Pen is difficult to use. The polish is barely coming out after vigorously shaking for a long time. I rather do the regular paints.

So sorry you are having trouble with our pens. Please note that after pen is activated the first time, the polish flows out consistently and thick. Before first use, press marker tip up & down on test surface for 1 full minute until tip is completely covered in polish. For any additional questions please contact our customer service.
