This set is a MUST HAVE with SOPHi nail polish. Since SOPHi does not contain harsh chemicals, it requires a few extra steps for durability. When worn according to application instructions, SOPHi will wear like traditional nail polish. 💅

Contents: 0.5 FL. OZ. 2 in 1 Primer + Sealer in one and 0.5 Fl. OZ. Shine Topcoat

Directions: 

  • Wash hands with soap and water.
  • Apply very thin layer of PRIMER + SEALER for chip resistance. Air Dry.
  • Apply 2-3 thin coats of SOPHi Nail Polish
  • Between polish coats, blow dry polished nails on warm heat/ low blower setting. With no harsh chemicals, the heat hardens polish for maximum chip resistance.
  • Apply Shine Topcoat for shine & scratch resistance. Repeat blow dryer.
  • Apply Primer + Sealer on top of Topcoat for extended wear. Be sure to cover tips of nails. Repeat blow dryer.

*PRIME + SHINE + SEAL System is not needed for use on toe nails.

Easy to use

Love that these two come in a set for convenience. It is a little cumbersome to have to do so many layers, but they dry relatively quickly. I did notice that they did have a slight odor to them (as opposed to the SOPHi nail polishes) which surprised me, but overall they are easy to use. SOPHI nail polish definitely does not last longer than normal nail polish on my nails, but I can't say they chip significantly faster either. Overall, would purchase again.

Thank you for the feedback! Since Piggy Paint is non-toxic and free of harsh chemicals (even our basecoat & topcoat!), the process is a bit different than traditional polish. We recommend using the prime + shine +seal system and a warm/low blow-dry between layers to help it fully set. We’re so happy to hear you’d buy again!

Love a safer option for my nails

Very happy there’s a safer option without a strong odor. The polish has lasted on my toes without a chip for 2 weeks now. Not as long on my hands but I will purchase the primer and sealer next. I’ve only purchased a few color polish and the shine coat. 🫶

It doesn’t have other well-known toxins, but it does contain another toxic substance.

This is not really a non toxic product, it contains polyethylene which is a microplastic and considered harmful. Even if applied on the nails, the nail has a living part, the skin, through which it can be absorbed. Unfortunately I realized this afterwards and the return policies are complicated since I bought the whole kit :/ Each item also contains different substances that are not good for health. While some may seem less harmful than others, they are still not truly beneficial.

Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves in producing the safest nail polish possible that Moms can feel good about using on their precious kiddos. Every ingredient in our polish (including colorants) has passed multiple third party Toxicological Risk Assessments that classify our polish as non-toxic. We will continue to access our product lines.

Didn’t work for me

Applying the recommended layers of paint as well as base and top coats was time consuming and color was splotchy on nails. I wound up donating all of the products I purchased because return policy was complicated.

Wish I loved it

The color goes on a bit streaky and chipped after two days. I was really hoping this would be my solution to non-toxic nails :(
