BEFORE 1ST USE: Shake well & repeatedly press marker tip up & down on test surface for 1 min. to activate. Polish must flow consistently from tip for best coverage.
BEFORE EACH USE: Shake well. On test surface, press marker tip up & down until it's completely covered with polish. Draw & paint your nails! Close cap tightly after use.

I ordered these as a birthday gift for a 6-year-old and they were perfect. We have yet to try them to cover a whole set of nails, but she had so much fun doodling nail art on people. As expected, it took a little while to get the paint flowing, but we had no problems after that. Would definitely recommend a top coat though, because it does come off quickly otherwise.
I got these to use with my daughter on both our nails. It was easy for her to use to paint with and I was able to use them on her for fun designs. They went on easy and stayed on for a long time. I prepped the pens first, similar to any paint pen. Once they were ready to use, it was smooth sailing!!

So I don't know if it's just me- but these aren't easy to use. They require a tone of shaking and pressing the tip down. It took me forever to do my 2 year olds fingers and toes and even longer to do mine. By the time I was done, the back of my hand was covered in pink paint due to needing to press the tip down so much.
We're sorry to hear the Pen Pack didn’t meet your expectations. The polish pens do require a bit of shaking and pressing to get the color flowing at first, but they should get easier with continued use.
