Directions:
- Wash hands with soap and water
- Apply 2 -3 thin coats of Piggy Paint
- Air dry 60 seconds
Optional for best wear:
- Blow-dry polished nails for 1 minute with a hairdryer set on warm heat/low blower setting.
- Use Piggy Paint Basecoat for extended wear and Topcoat for added shine.

We’re big Piggy Paint fans, and were excited to try Heart of Gold. It’s a nice true gold colored polish with a glittery finish. We did about three coats to get the rich gold color that shows in the bottle. We’d recommend using the base and top coat with the polish; without it,I was able to peel the polish off of our nails and it chipped and was mostly off the same day. We love that Piggy Paint is non-toxic and I feel much better with my kids using this over any other polish on the market. They love it too! If you’re looking for a nice gold polish, I would recommend Heart of Gold.
The gold glitter in this nail polish is fine enough that it mixed in well, and it applied to a pretty solid color. My youngest loves it!
The brush is also thinner than average nail polish brushes, so it works well to apply to smaller nails. She hasn't had them on for long enough to determine longevity, buy nail polish rarely lasts long for my girls because they tend to pick it off.
My daughter was excited to use this and put it on right away. It is much more sparkly than some of the other shimmer colors she’s tried from piggy paint. It is sheer but two coats were enough for her and the sparkliness gives the impression of opacity. I noticed that it came off faster than her solid color creme colors, but that doesn’t bother us as she doesn’t like to remove polish and usually just waits for it to come off on its own anyway.
The thin brush is perfect for small nails. We used it with the base and top coat and I felt that it dried slightly quicker than her piggy paint creme colors. We would love to try other colors in the same formula!
This polish is very pretty. If you do light layers it goes on pretty smooth. It’s a perfect color for St Patrick’s day too!
