I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter. The product states that it works best on lighter hair. This is accurate. My daughter has mixed blonde hair and the lighter pieces definitely took on the color better than the darker hair. We let it set on the hair for 15 minutes, next time We'll go 20 minutes. Very happy with the results. My daughter loves her pink hair and I love a product that is safe for kids.

Worked great for my daughters hair! So fun and vibrant! She has probably a level 7/8 yellowish blonde and it still turned out good! Lasted a week! Picture is about 3 washes in
