Hi, I’m Melanie Hurley (aka Queen Piggy)! I created Piggy Paint when my daughters were 2 and 4. We loved painting nails, but I hated the thought of my girls putting their fingers in their mouths after using traditional polishes full of smelly chemicals.

One day while painting over a foam plate, a drop of polish ate through the plate—and I knew something had to change. I searched for a safer, kid-friendly alternative, but nothing existed. I was a teacher with no business experience but set out to create a non-toxic polish for kids everywhere. And ta-da! Piggy Paint was born—fun, colorful, and worry-free!

It’s been 17 years of ups, downs, and sparkly moments—but our mission has never changed: to create non-toxic, premium products that are completely safe for kids (mine and yours!). With an eco-minded heart and safety at our core, we’ve crafted a water-based polish that’s virtually odorless, dries hard, and doesn’t peel! It’s better than “17-free” or “21-free”—because it’s free ofall harsh chemicals. Piggy Paint is cruelty-free, vegan, and available in a rainbow of colors—ALL the fun & none of the worry!
